Here are some of our most common asked questions.

What is Archery Tag®?

  • A safe, family-oriented sport that satisfies the competitive spirit as well as the thrill seeker.
  • Requires no athletic ability or prior skill.
  • People find that our foam tipped arrows are non-intimidating.
  • New and exciting!!!
  • Offers an interactive experience that is more physical than other activities like Laser Tag.
  • Unlike paintball, there is no bruising or welts.
  • The fastest growing sport of its kind.

While a variation of dodgeball is the most common Archery Tag®  game, here with OmniExtreme Outdoor Games we have an arsenal of action-packed games to keep up the fun and excitement.

Is it safe?

The arrows have foam tips!  And all participants are required to wear face masks, too.  So, the whizzing arrow that just hit you in the leg stings for a bit, but doesn’t leave you crippled.  And, unlike paintball, when you get hit, the arrow doesn’t leave a bruise or welt and there is no mess!

Where can I play?

Our setup is totally mobile, therefore, we can bring the fun to you.  For most events, we need a flat, grassy area about the size of a tennis court (approximately 40′ x 80′).  Many parks and some backyards are big enough to play in.

Can I just show up and play?

Of course! However, OmniExtreme does not have a permanent location.  Check out our Open Play section to see when the next time we are in your area.  The easiest way to make sure you are in on the action is to schedule a private event.  It’s so much more fun shooting people you know anyway. And if you are under 18 you need to get your parent or legal guardian to complete our online waiver.

What’s provided with the rental event?

We provide the full setup.  This includes bows, arrows, bunkers, masks, and an Archery Tag Coordinator to referee all those shots.

How old do you need to be to play?

We recommend 10 years old.  Why? Archery Tag® uses a recurve bow with a 28 lb drawstring.   All that means is that you need to be strong enough to hold the bow with the arrow notched and draw string pulled.  Most kids 10 years and older are capable of doing this.

How many bows should I reserve?

One per participant, we recommend a minimum of 10 and no more than 16 per setup.  It really depends on the size of your party and how much you want to play.  Once the rules are explained, one game typically takes about 5-7 minutes.  This allows for a lot of play in just a short amount of time.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes.  We’ve got you covered right here.
